The Maxxis MINION DHR II tyre is dedicated to aggressive riders, it has been designed for downhill and enduro racing on dry to soft terrain. In this Wide Trail (WT) version, it is optimized for rims from 30 to 35 mm wide. Completely redesigned, it offers even better performance whether in acceleration, cornering or braking. The wide side blocks make it easier to start the turn, while the denser grooved central band offers better performance and great control. This tyre uses the 3C rubber compound MaxxGrip is designed to offer maximum grip and avoid bad bounce effects. This Double Down carcass consists of two layers of our lightweight 120 TPI carcass material that are combined with a butyl sidewall insert to create a highly durable tire providing more feedback and lighter than downhill tires.
