The Maxxis MINION DHR II tyre is dedicated to aggressive riders, it has been designed for downhill competition on dry to soft terrain. In this Wide Trail (WT) version, it is optimized for rims from 30 to 35 mm wide. Completely redesigned, it offers even better performance whether in acceleration, cornering or braking. The wide side blocks make it easier to start the turn, while the denser grooved central band offers better performance and great control. The 2-Ply carcass is lined and reinforced with a butyl insert to provide better protection and increase rigidity at the sidewalls. This tire uses the 3C Maxx Terra rubber compound for a tire with better traction and less rolling resistance.
Carcass 2 x 60 TPI DH: 2 layers on the sides with butyl protection, for a very high level of strength
